Unicorn Academy is an enchanting Canadian animated series that premiered on Netflix on November 2, 2023. The series follows the adventures of Sophia Mendoza and her classmates on Unicorn Island, where they find themselves at a magical academy for unicorn riders . To become their students and unlock magical powers, they must build a special bond with their own unicorn—just like Sophia did with Wildstar—and together protect the island's magic from dark threats.
Each episode revolves around friendship, courage, and teamwork as the group navigates the challenges of school and magical adventures. Season 1 premiered in November 2023, followed by Season 2 on June 27, 2024, and Season 3—titled "Legendary Summer" —released on April 9, 2025. A "Winter Solstice" special is planned for November 2025. The series will also air on Nickelodeon in July 2025.
